Personality:
Johanna is a well-mannered person and enjoys social gatherings. She also enjoys playing sports and exercising. She is dedicated to the medical field and is almost stubborn in her beliefs. However, she loathes the Borg and can often be found doing research to aid in defeating the Borg.

Personal Background:
Johanna was born in A'rea City on the El-Aurian Homeworld. Her mother was a Betazoid Diplomat and her father an El-Aurin Diplomat. The couple decided to live on the El-Aurin Homeworld to raise Johanna. Johanna was happy as a child and learned to enjoy music and art. At the age of 19, however, Johanna found that she also had a fascination with medicine. So that same year, she applied to the A'rea Medical School and was accepted. Eight years later, in 2206, Johanna graduated Medical School. She then moved to the surrounding providence to give aid to those not close to the city. She soon met Gor Moran in 2216 and they married a year later. Johanna enjoyed a peaceful life until early 2293, when the Borg invaded their world. Johanna managed to escape on the last transport, S.S Lakul, but her husband and parents were killed during the attack. The loss devastated Johanna, whom was later among the survivors rescued from Lakul before it was destroyed by the Nexus. A part of Johanna still wanted to get into the Nexus...but she instead decided to do something with her life and not throw it away. Johanna moved to Vulcan and attended the Medical School there, where she did extremely well. While there, she also learned the Suus mahna (Vulcan martial arts). In 2300, Johanna moved from Vulcan to Earth, where she attended New Paris University and majored in Xenobiology and Microbiology. In 2308, she graduated from New Paris University and moved to Andor to practice medicine there. While there, she managed to contain a viral outbreak and treat it. In 2320, Johanna moved to Betazed and studied neurosurgery procedures and empath psychology at the Betazed Medical Institute, where she graduated two years later. She went on to teach at the Betazed Medical Institute until 2340, when she moved back to Earth to study Herbal Medicine at the Fairbanks Medical Facility. In 2342, Johanna was offered a position as a civilian professor at Starfleet Medical. She took the offer and taught Xenobiology there until 2365 after the first Borg invasion. She then studied bio and positronic circuitry at the Daydtrum Institute, hoping to better her skills and possibly aid Starfleet in defeating the Borg someday. In 2370, Johanna applied to Starfleet Academy and was accepted.
